Installation considerations

What tends to decide whether this system goes in cleanly. These apply whether Palisaro installs it or you do.

    Gate post footings are the single most common source of gate problems. Size them for the leaf, not the fence.

  • 02

    A cantilever slide gate needs a pair of support posts on the run-back side, not a single hinge post.

  • 03

    Where an operator will be fitted later, the post and footing should be sized for the automated duty cycle from the start.
