Installation considerations

What tends to decide whether this system goes in cleanly. These apply whether Palisaro installs it or you do.

  • 01

    A drop-rod socket has to be set in the finished surface. Coordinate with whoever is placing the asphalt or concrete.

  • 02

    Long leaves sag over time if the hinge posts move. Footing sizing at gate posts is the controlling detail.

  • 03

    Confirm which leaf is the active leaf before fabrication; latch and drop rod placement depend on it.
